Message from Engine House Number 9
Engine House No.9 was built in 1907 and provided fire protection for Tacoma's north end until 1965. Converted to a restaurant in 1973, the building was placed on the National Historical Register in 1975. Numerous fire-fighting elements in the decor capture the essence of what once was. The front patio and the enclosed courtyard can be enjoyed during warmer months.
We have a wide selection of hand-crafted beers featuring more than 10 from our award-winning brewery, as well as three cask-conditioned ales. The Beer Club is a fun way to explore the diverse draft and bottle beer selections. Top shelf spirits and fine wines are also featured in the bar.
And don't forget our great food selections, including burgers, appetizers, sandwiches, steak and pasta, all served in a friendly, casual atmosphere.
