The restaurant, established across from the hustling Merchandise Mart, is a fixture in the River North neighborhood. The newly remodeled dining room and bar is set with warm, earthy tones. In the main dining room, white cloth tables complement the cozy, oversized mocha leather booths. Charming black-and-white prints of old Chicago framed simply in black adorn the walls, along with a chalkboard announcing the daily wine specials. The Kinzie bar is sleek and contemporary with an inviting feel.

Kinzie Chophouse is very popular place for business lunches, pre-theater diners, conventioneers & neighborhood regulars. Providing comfortable surrounding full of black & white photographs of old Chicago. Four spacious rooms, including a bar, are outfitted with attractive & roomy dark wooden banquettes. Susan Frasca of Frasca Hospitality Group who purchased the restaurant in late 1998 has made some exciting changes to the menu, & received the Wine Spectator ""Award Of Excellence"" five years in a row.
